Rekordbox Library Explorer

Drop in your Rekordbox export and see which tracks never made it into a playlist, how long they’ve been sitting there, which of them you rated, and which files Rekordbox recorded under 192 kbps. Select from data visualization and export almost anything to m3u8.

Your file stays in this tab

Your browser reads the file. Nothing gets uploaded or logged, and this site runs no analytics.

To play a track, the page asks for your music folder. The audio stays in this tab too, and the browser forgets the folder when you reload.

What the explorer reads

Your library
Which playlists each track is in, so you can spot the ones in none. Plus play counts, ratings, BPM, key, genre, release year and date added, as Rekordbox exported them. There’s no last-played date in the export, so age counts from date added. Keys show in Open Key.
Your playlists, read back
Rekordbox shows you one playlist at a time, but the export has all of them, so the explorer reads them together. You’ll see the genres and years they barely touch, the tracks they lean on, playlists that mostly duplicate each other, and ones you’ve never played from. Rule-based playlists count too.
File quality
Each local file’s type, bitrate and sample rate as Rekordbox recorded them, so you can pull the files under 192 kbps into a playlist and replace them. It reads what the export says, not the audio, so a WAV or FLAC made from an MP3 still counts as lossless.
Can Spektra read it?
It runs the same checks as Spektra’s Rekordbox import: which tracks are local files and which stream, how file paths decode, and which playlists point at tracks missing from the collection.
Large libraries
The file is read a chunk at a time in a background thread, so the page stays responsive even with a 100 MB, 60,000-track export.
What it can’t see
How your tracks sound. It can play them from your music folder, but it doesn’t analyze the audio, and a moved file only shows up when you press play. Reading the audio is what Spektra does. To find similar-sounding tracks inside Rekordbox itself, see the Collection Radar guide.
